sorry to intrude but..you should really read "Nine Stories", by JD Salinger of course.

Nine Stories are great!
Franny and Zooey is a wonderful book, too.
and then Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction. and that's pretty much everything he ever published.

yes! i've read everything he's ever published i think...
the books are breaking because i got them from my granpa's library..they're about 40something years old!
